'Food, Love and Money'

Julia has a PCT meeting, but is devastated about Ocean and Marlin. Jimmi receives another gift from his number one fan; a fruitcake! Zara officially returns to work, amidst gossip, and Ruth offers a friendly ear if she wants a chat and much to her surprise Zara accepts.

Zara reveals to Ruth she liked being with Jack because he didn't ask any difficult questions, and she didn't have to face her true predicament.

Now its all come crashing down around her, and although she doesn't want children now, what if she changes her mind?

Ruth sympathises and tentatively goes to hug Zara, and for the first time Zara accepts the hug, worried for her future.

Meanwhile, Andy (30) struggles to make his usual donation at the fertility clinic. He apologises to the receptionist Laura (24) who flirts with him and makes another appointment for the afternoon so he can get his final payment.

Andy returns home to his girlfriend Jocasta (23) who is far from impressed that he has prepared a low budget picnic for her birthday and insists they go to an exclusive restaurant instead. Andy baulks at the price list but agrees.

Andy sees Daniel at the Mill and asks for a performance enhancing drug; he's struggling in the bedroom, but Daniel wants to explore the causes first. Andy doesn't have time for this and rushes out and later we see him meet a dealer who gives him some tablets. Andy bounds up the steps to the clinic to make his delivery and later rushes out late for lunch!

Andy arrives at the restaurant and apologises to Jocasta, noticing with dismay that Daniel is a few tables across. Jocasta orders oysters and Andy has to rush to the toilets. He does this a couple of times and finally Daniel follows, worried.

Andy explains that he took some drugs for his 'problem' but they're giving him diarrhoea. Daniel looks at the tablets and reveals they're not what he thinks they are. Andy's been had. Andy despairs, he wants to be prefect for his girlfriend and now look at the state of him.

Daniel advises him to stop being someone else and to go out there and have confidence in himself. Andy does just that but when he realises he left his wallet at the clinic Jocasta goes mad. She calls him all the names under the sun and finally Andy snaps. He's been doing all he can to keep her happy, he's hidden the fact he's unemployed, got majorly into debt and had to donate sperm in order to claim miniscule expenses! The restaurant is stunned.

Andy finishes by dumping a furious Jocasta. Daniel reassures Andy that there's a girl out there who's perfect for him. Andy gets his wallet from the clinic and suddenly sees Laura in a new light… does she fancy a pub lunch?
