'Mystery at Moot Point'
Sissy Juggins (30's) tells her brother Ivor Juggins (40's) she's taking 'their project' breakfast in bed… it's Jimmi groggily chained to a bed. Sissy eagerly cleans and feeds Jimmi as though he were a pet; Jimmi is so drugged up he can't fight back.

Ivor is equally impressed with 'Dr Jimmi's presence' and they bring out their lovingly preserved recordings of Jimmi's radio show. Julia has to deal with the awkwardness when Heston and Lily arrive for work.

To make matters worse the staff room doors have jammed and Jimmi hasn't tuned up for work - Daniel says he's probably extended his holiday. Heston suggests Charlie Bradford; an old friend of his could locum while they're short staffed.

As Julia frets about Jimmi, Heston tries to force open the jammed door only to bang into Lily trying the same thing on the other side. Heston apologises to a frosty Lily for the way things worked out. Later Julia pins down Daniel and insists he must know where Jimmi is, he lives with him! Daniel is furious and insists he's not Jimmi's keeper!

Meanwhile, BJ Markell (49) grumpily takes her bed-ridden mother and renowned children's author Edie Markell (82) her breakfast, and asks what she's hiding in the box under her bed. Meanwhile Ruth is full of excitement as she promised Michelle she would drop some dressings off for Edie.

BJ is annoyed when Edie invites her back for lunch, and to BJ's annoyance Ruth guesses that BJ is the subject of her mother's infamous 'Belinda Jane' novels. Back at The Mill Ruth mentions the fraught atmosphere to Julia; meanwhile BJ swigs furiously away at some gin.

Ruth returns for lunch and the atmosphere remains between mother and daughter. Ruth suspects BJ may be keeping her mother in bed, but they soon find that Edie has been hiding her food away in the box under her bed. BJ is furious but Ruth suspects there is an underlying motive. She tells BJ she thinks Edie is deliberately starving herself and BJ does seem to be drinking a lot.

Ruth says she'll try and get them some help so Edie can get out of bed and BJ can have some support in looking after her. As Ruth leaves Edie tells BJ it is time they started a new chapter.
