'Three Go Wild'

Michelle and Ruth arrive full of anticipation for their Adventure Bound activity day. They others in their group are Dr Kim Parks (28) and Josh Mathers (25), who looks like a junior Rambo. Cherry draws looks of amazement when she arrives looking like action Barbie. Josh is immediately interested.

Their instructor Rowan McCann (35) takes them through the basics of orienteering before they head out. Kim instantly takes a dislike to Ruth especially when she sees her getting on with Rowan and looks down at her for only being a receptionist.

Their challenge is to secure food and shelter. Much to his delight Josh is paired with Cherry and they set off looking for firewood. Ruth is paired with a smug Kim who Rowan has appointed leader. Cherry and Josh have a great time and she is secretly please with the attention and delighted when he manages to get the fire started. Michelle surprises everyone including herself by landing a huge fish.

The next part of the challenge sees each team dropped in the middle of nowhere with the view to orienteering their way back to base. Ruth is elected leader of her team. Kim keeps wanting to rest and Michelle accuses her of doing it on purpose.

Cherry gets mad at Josh who has been deliberately taking them around in circles so he can spend more time with her. He is messing around jumping from rock to rock and disappears over the edge of the cliff. Cherry climbs down to him but looses her grip and hurts her ankle. Josh is badly injured.

Meanwhile, Kim has accidentally dropped the map and compass in the river and the girls are struggling to find their way.

Cherry struggles to light a fire, when Josh pulls out a lighter she cant hid her disappointment as she was beginning to fall for him.

Having seen the smoke from the fire the girls arrive. Ruth asks Kim for advice on what to do but she falters and when pushed reveals she is not a doctor, she works in the canteen. Michelle is raging but Ruth has some empathy with Kim.

Michelle agrees to stay with Cherry and Josh and Ruth and Kim head off to get help. Ruth pushes Kim to take control of finding the way back. Josh's condition deteriorates but Ruth arrives with help. Back at base Ruth gives the credit to Kim but everyone knows it was really down to her.

Despite everything the girls have enjoyed their day but agree that next time it will involved mud baths, facials and a Swedish masseur!
