'Consequences'

Simon is awoken tortured by the memories of the day before. He arrives at work in a sullen mood and desperately tries to phone Will.

Meanwhile, in the Duncan household Sophie has discovered Will's phone and cuts off Simon's calls before she begins her household chores with alarming vigour.

Despite Will's protestations Sophie does not want to talk but does demand to know where to find Simon – and he tries to warn Simon.

Simon and Cherry have lunch at the Icon and have a near miss with Sophie. He admits to Cherry what happened but storms out when he feels she's judging him again.

Back at The Mill Simon is cornered by Sophie but for once Simon sticks up for himself. His love for Will isn't just some cheap fling; they've fallen in love with each other. Sophie is having none of it and demands Simon stay away. He chases after her and asks if she is lying to herself – her husband is gay surely she must have seen the signs?

Simon leaves her still in denial. Inside Simon sees Cherry and asks if she wants to gloat? She comforts him; he just fell in love with the wrong man and she knows all about that.

Ruth tells a wary Julia that Daniel has pencilled in a meeting at lunchtime. Julia accosts Heston, worried Daniel may have managed to get the money for the partnership.

Heston doesn't understand Julia's worries but agrees to sound Daniel out.

Daniel confesses to Heston he's only managed to raise half the funds, and when he mentions eighty thousand pounds Heston chokes but manages to cover.

Seething, Heston confronts Julia asking why she lied to Daniel? She is adamant she did the right thing. Meanwhile Jimmi unwittingly tells Zara that he was offered the partnership for half of what Daniel was.

The pre-arranged meeting starts with Julia feeling smug until Daniel reveals what Zara has told him – the partnership is now on offer for half the price. Julia is stuck and demands a meeting with Heston, but is worried when Heston admits they do need Daniel's money.

Julia insists there must be a way around this and they tell Daniel the partnership is his... but under the condition that Daniel won't achieve full parity with the other partners for three years. Unacceptable to Daniel, he tells them they can shove their offer where the sun doesn't shine!
