Meanwhile, 19 year old Debra Farr is determined to go to music college and study opera. Audrey her mother thinks she is just trying to follow in her dead sister’s footsteps and isn’t as talented. Debra has had enough of her mother’s lack of support and decides to run away, but first she has another audition.

She has to leave as she has a panic attack and when she comes back she pleads with them to give her another chance. Her mother overhears her singing and realises how she has overlooked her daughter’s needs and talent.
