New receptionist Donna has her first full day on the desk alone, after a week of training. Her eagerness to be efficient starts to get on Julia's nerves, and Jimmi clearly just hates the fact that she's not Sarah.
Everyone is curious about Elizabeth's sudden departure, and keen for answers, especially as Nick seems morose and gets angry at any mention of her, but Mac will only say that she left for personal reasons.
Greg returns to work after his honeymoon, looking forward to Rico moving in properly today... until he gets home to find his flat taken over by strange and ugly objects that Rico has collected during his travels. Taking a dislike to a Cigar Store Indian in particular, Greg argues with Rico, who snaps that if Greg can't compromise over furniture, maybe they shouldn't have got married at all...
Meanwhile, Tina Machin confides in her friend Nuala that she is fed up with her husband's constant snoring and lack of libido - Nuala thinks these are signs of an affair, but Tina isn't convinced, so Nuala persuades her to make Pete jealous by flirting with the local dance teacher. Once at the dance hall, proceeds to get Tina drunk as Vic the instructor gets more flirty.
Meanwhile, Pete falls asleep at the wheel as he drives into the Mill car park. Jimmi examines him and diagnoses potential obstructive sleep apnoea. He gives Pete a lift home, reassuring him that the condition can be helped, and that he and Tina can get back to how they used to be, but Tina is nowhere to be seen.
At the dancehall, Nuala waits until Tina is very drunk before stealing her mobile and leaving her in Vic's keen hands. Nuala visits Pete and tells him Tina is having an affair, hoping to win him for herself, but Pete throws her out, determined to get Tina back.
Pete tracks Tina down at the dance hall, but rather than finding them in a compromising position, finds Tina being sick while a frustrated Vic cleans up the mess.
Pete explains to Tina about his illness, and about Nuala's scheming, promising that he still loves her. Tina confronts Nuala who tries one last bid for Pete, but when he grabs Tina and kisses her, they find the spark back in their relationship.
