'Smoke and Flames'

Cherry is harassed by Karen about Imogen's wellbeing. At the same time, Jimmi is mad at her for taking his Friday trousers to the dry cleaners when it's a Friday. Cherry runs around attempting to make everyone happy and tries not to feel guilty for leaving Imogen on her own at the weekend while she and Jimmi go away.

At lunch, Freya tells Cherry to help the people who appreciate her efforts. After assisting a grateful Imogen with her revision, Cherry makes a decision. When Jimmi comes home, she tells him they are not going away this weekend as Imogen needs her more, leaving Jimmi in shock.

Meanwhile, Mrs Tembe has secretly been helping out her elderly neighbour Gladys, stocking up her fridge and tidying her garden. However, Heston suspects that Gladys can't cope anymore after she accidentally burns herself.

Heston confronts Mrs Tembe, making her see that the best help Gladys could have is at a care home. Mrs Tembe accepts this but is clearly upset as Gladys is led away to her new home.

Elsewhere, Kevin suffers from a lack of tact when dealing with a fireman suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. He attempts to make up for his naïveté but makes matters worse.
