'Best Laid Plans'

It's the day of Cherry and Jimmi's engagement party, but Cherry gets a call to say that most of her friends and family are stuck on the motorway, which is gridlocked because of an accident. When she gets to The Icon, Cherry is faced with a catalogue of disasters from the balloons being the wrong colour to the cocktail guy not turning up. Hearing that Zara and Daniel will be late is the last straw for Cherry and she bursts into tears.

Later, Julia gives a heartfelt speech voicing her approval of Cherry and Jimmi's union, before Jimmi presents a delighted Cherry with a pink diamond engagement ring and proposes all over again.

Meanwhile, the Hollins clan aren't in the mood for the party as the prospect of another family therapy session fills them with dread. Imogen wants to cancel as she thinks it's making things worse, but Karen insists they need to talk about things before it turns into something they can't talk about. At the session, Elaine suggests that Immie might be suffering from kleptomania, but when Immie starts talking as if she has an addiction, Rob loses it and launches a verbal attack on her. He storms out as Karen is left to comfort a sobbing Imogen.

Elsewhere, Zara and Daniel are dressed as Olivia Newton John and John Travolta for the party when the clinic calls, explaining that they want to do a transfer that evening. They don't bother to change and race off, getting themselves a few strange looks at the clinic.
