'Every End Has a Start'

Heston arrives for work looking like a broken man and he ignores his colleagues' concern as he heads to Julia's office. In a succinct, business-like manner, Heston says that Kevin's assertions were correct. He admits that Marina has been beating him and that he tried to get rid of Kevin as he guessed what was going on. He leaves, unsure of when he will return.

Later, word goes round the surgery and there is general astonishment that no-one suspected anything. Mrs Tembe finds Heston scared to go into his house. They go in together and find Marina has left her key and a note saying she is sorry.

Meanwhile, fed up with arguing, Rob arrives at the new house laden with takeaway - but a row ensues when he forgets the naan. Imogen pretends to be really upset in an attempt to get them to stop, but mostly because she is hungry. They rumble her but it gets them laughing. As they leave, we see that Karen has left a window open…
