'Blue Eyed Boy'

Zara tries to act as normally as possible as she and Daniel head to the zoo with baby Joe. They get on really well and for large chunks of the day almost forget that there is an issue between them. Later, though, Zara steps in when Joe needs attention - leaving Daniel sidelined. He wants to discuss what happened and can't understand how okay Zara is with the situation. Daniel is frustrated and depressed, appearing to resent the attention that Joe is getting.

That evening, Daniel shakes baby Joe - physically willing him to be quiet. Just in time, he is stopped by Zara, who is deeply afraid and beyond livid. Without hesitation, she drives away with Joe, branding Daniel unfit to be a father. Daniel then hits rock bottom - what has he done?

Meanwhile, Jas is looking for a permanent job. She likes her part time post at The Mill, but it doesn't pay the bills. She even considers applying for night shifts at the hospital, but Kevin convinces her that she would be too tired if she did that. Kevin wants to take Jas out for lunch, but she refuses. Forlorn, she opens the jobs pages of the newspaper and looks at an advert for clerical staff.

Elsewhere, a student with a heart condition begs Heston to help him break free from his overprotective mother.
