'A Tangled Web'

Elaine is intrigued after receiving a visit last night from Alex, who wanted to talk about Harrison. Alex's wife went missing after an affair with Harrison, meaning that it's possible he may have killed other women too. Elaine talks to Jimmi about the matter, as he is Alex's GP. Jimmi explains that Alex has struggled with depression. Elaine doesn't reveal that he visited her, but asks if Jimmi would see him as she thinks he needs to talk to someone. Elaine then calls Alex suggesting the same. Alex is apologetic about last night, but is frustrated that she won't talk to him further.

That night, as Elaine is leaving, Alex appears at The Mill - insisting that he needs to talk to someone who understands what Harrison is like. Elaine says no at first, but soon softens and lets Alex in. Is she making a mistake?

Meanwhile, Rob is furious when not only does he spot Kingsley groping Imogen, but Imogen then reveals that he is staying over for a few nights. Karen tries to explain to Kingsley how this is a hard time for them, suggesting that maybe he could stay elsewhere, but Kingsley swiftly wins her over with flattery. He fails to charm Rob, however. It takes Karen to change Rob's mind when she shouts at him for pushing Imogen away on her last week at home.

Elsewhere, when Jack becomes involved in a dispute between a tenant and his landlord, he soon learns that sometimes the good guys have to lie and that even the bad guys need defending.
