'Desperately Seeking Melanie'

Cherry's relief at getting Daniel an appointment with Doctor Oliver Clarke is cut short when Jimmi announces that he is going for a drink with Daniel later. She fails to talk him out of it and so speaks to Daniel, but he wants to bond with his best mate.

Despite himself, Daniel opens up to Oliver and reveals his belief that Joe actively rejects him, and admits he's not able to cope when he should. He pulls back just before mentioning the shaking incident, but accepts Oliver's suggestion that he take antidepressants.

At the end of the day, Cherry tries to persuade Jimmi to bring Daniel back to theirs to try a new takeaway - but the taxi has arrived and the men go off for their private drink. Cherry watches them go with trepidation.

Meanwhile, Emma spends the day charming everyone, flirting and embarrassing Howard. He tries to ignore her, but when he sees her flirting with Heston, he can't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Later, as he helps her go through the rota, he starts to fall under her spell. He tells her to stop - they have to have professional boundaries. Emma can see he's being serious, but won't be put off and later when she flirts with Heston, Howard is caught by that feeling again!

Elsewhere, Kevin risks losing his reputation as the 'cool' one in the family when his niece turns up unexpectedly at the Campus.
