Emma tells her son Chris of the definite offer of work at The Mill, but Chris isn't impressed at the idea of working with her and says he'll find his own job. However, this is harder than Chris thinks and he eventually has to concede that The Mill is his only chance of work at the moment.

Emma is thrilled and phones Howard immediately, telling Chris he starts tomorrow!

Meanwhile, memories of Cherry seem to be everywhere today, so Jimmi goes home early and scrubs away all traces of her in the house. Then the doorbell rings - it's Franklyn with a keg of beer. He heard about Cherry and he's here to cheer Jimmi up!
