'Just Nerves'

Melody decides to make amends and cook a special meal for Archie. She throws herself into the culinary role but it’s a bit too much Keith Floyd and not enough Nigella to pull it off, and for her piece de resistance, she launches at Archie over a burnt toad in the hole. Understandably, Archie doesn’t fall for the drunken heap sprawled across him and doesn’t try to stop her when she stomps off for a taxi – he finds her the number!

Vivien has a beautiful picnic with Sam in his special place on the hills. They share memories and a relaxed afternoon, but it’s Sam’s last. Vivien says goodbye.

Meanwhile, Victoria (30) is dreading today, her wedding day. She’s trying to cope with chronic pain and an overbearing mother. It’s really her Mum’s big day and Victoria is a bag of nerves and just trying to lie low and wait for it all to be over. Her Dad isn’t convinced it’s just nerves and calls in Joe much to his wife’s annoyance.

Victoria has a urinary tract infection and needs urgent treatment. Joe senses relief from Victoria rather than concern about the disruption to her wedding. Victoria really thinks she has been given a life line but her Mum goes one better and moves the wedding to the hospital chapel! It’s now or never for Victoria and she has to speak up and stop her Mum’s interfering.
