'A Pain In The...'
Julia arrives to work early and is surprised to see Vivien already there. Julia sympathises that the weekends can be long and lonely, Vivien bristles as the suggestion she is lonely.

Julia is at the PCT and as the meeting ends she speaks to her friend Ellen Grantham who is on the PCT board. She tells Julia the board were very impressed with the Mill’s figures. Julia praises the strong team she has behind her. Ellen reveals she has some information that might be of interest to Julia but she has to be careful as it could jeopardise her position on the PCT board if it gets out she has told her.

Ellen hints in a very cryptic manner that a new business opportunity might be on the cards for the Mill if only Julia looks in the right places.

Jimmi bumps into Eva at the police station, it’s an awkward moment between them as Jimmi asks if she has any idea where her transfer might be too. Eva says its early days, she walks off and from his look we know Jimmi will miss her.

Eva is talking to Sgt Collins, she has been asked by the Super to organise a forensic lecture but her speaker has let her down at the last minute.

Julia is on the computer and finds what she is looking for, she makes a call to the Vice Chancellor of University of Letherbridge.

Jimmi is with Sgt Collins as Eva passes, Sgt Collins calls her over and suggests Jimmi will help her if she is stuck. Eva is caught out and upsets Jimmi by saying she didn’t ask him to help with the forensics lecture as he hasn’t been in the job long and didn’t think public speaking was his thing. Jimmi rounds on her claiming he has more experience than she might think, she tells him to do it if he wants and stomps off.

Julia calls Ellen to thank her for her tip off. Julia’s happy mood prompts Michelle to speculate Julia might have a new man in her life, Vivien admonishes her that some people’s lives don’t revolve around the opposite sex.

Sgt Collins passes on some notes for the forensic lecture; Jimmi suddenly wonders what he has got himself into.

Meanwhile, Archie gets embroiled with a traffic warden who is worried about his future.
