Frances faces pressure from DI Donald

Frances is feeling under pressure from DI Donald. He has given her the job of switching Lenny's SIM card on his second phone, which he believes he uses for dodgy dealings. Frances is not keen, but DI Donald explains that he can easily investigate her mother's business affairs which would threaten her place in the luxury nursing home in which she resides.

Later, Frances reluctantly carries out his job but when her mother finds out, she is furious. Frances knows she can't co-operate any more with the police - but DI Donald has another job for her…

Meanwhile, Gabriel has taken delivery of Michael's Christmas present as a favour to Leyla. It's an antique chair, but when Gabriel goes to remove the packaging, the arm breaks off. Instead of owning up, he decides to try and fix it without Leyla knowing the truth. Despite a date lined up with Kelly-Marie, Gabriel spends time trying to put things right, but when Leyla finds out, she is not too happy.

Elsewhere, Nicole's relationship with Stevie is going from strength to strength and she confides in Christina that she is ready to take it to the next level. However, she is worried that Stevie is more experienced than her and in any case, they can't seem to find time alone. But when Hayley asks Stevie to do some work in her flat while she and Frances are out, they both realise this could be their chance.
