The police question Jamie

As Chief Superintendent Hobbs continues his investigation into the murder of DCI Eddie Hunter, he demands that Harry takes Eddie’s son Jamie in for questioning. A guilty DCI Whiteside pays Paul Hunter a visit to fish for information as his gunman partner in crime Lenny Murdoch gets more and more suspicious about what is going on.

Later that day, a romantic dinner at Jodie’s flat doesn’t end quite as planned for Whiteside when the murder inquiry seems to take a sudden and dramatic change in direction.

Elsewhere, Shirley gets a good offer for hairdressing salon Moda Vida and is about to accept when the flamboyant Viv shows up and instantly befriends her. After a boozy afternoon together, Viv makes an offer to buy half of the salon and Shirley throws caution to the wind and agrees.

Gina, meanwhile, fears that her secret romance with Douglas may be found out as she organises a passionate night in with him.

And Rory Murdoch is none too happy about his brother Ewan having arrived in Shieldinch.
