Behind the scenes of 'Casualty's new series

Series 23 of Casualty begins this weekend with an explosive two-part special airing across Saturday and Sunday nights.
The episodes, entitled 'The Farmead Menace: Parts I and II', see paramedics Dixie (Jane Hazelgrove) and Jeff (Matt Bardock) in an accident which threatens the life of a pedestrian and their jobs, while Tess (Suzanne Packer) is left fighting for her life after becoming impaled on a metal rod.
