We can now present our first batch of replies, so read on for news on the Casualty titles, Coronation Street's Dennis Tanner and more…
Soap Scoop: The Casualty opening titles will be getting an update in the New Year. A spokesperson for the show told us: "Early January will be an exciting time for Casualty as we start the New Year with an explosive double episode shot on our new set in Cardiff in HD, along with some fresh new faces. The distinctive Casualty theme tune will stay the same, but the title sequences will be having a medical makeover."
Mark: What has happened to Mads from Casualty?
Soap Scoop: Another question answered by a helpful spokesperson! The Casualty rep told us: "At the end of Series 25, we saw Mads on screen for the last time as she came to terms with her assault at the hands of mini cab driver Ash. As Lenny finally admitted he was in love with Mads, we saw her removing her hajib and admitting that, while she was still a devout Muslim, she didn't feel the need to wear it anymore. In the Casualty episode on October 29, readers can finally learn what Mads has been up to since she left the ED when Lenny receives a surprise letter…"
Soap Scoop: It seems so, as Hollie-Jay said in a recent interview that she was pleased to be back in Hollyoaks and would be sticking around for the foreseeable future.
Melissa: Didn't Lee Hunter and Michaela McQueen know each other from years ago when they were both in Hollyoaks, or didn't they ever meet because they don't know each other now?
Soap Scoop: The two characters have never crossed paths until now. Lee's original departure was in December 2005 and Michaela arrived in January 2006, so they missed each other by about three weeks.
Matthew: What relation is Mitzeee to the Costello family in Hollyoaks?
Soap Scoop: Mitzeee is Heidi's cousin.
Donna: How many weeks is the UK behind Home and Away?
Soap Scoop: The current gap is seven weeks (35 episodes). It shouldn't be too long before we catch up a bit more again, as Home and Away takes a lengthy break in Australia in the weeks before and after Christmas.
Soap Scoop: Things have seemed slightly quiet for Dennis, but this looks likely to change. When Philip Lowrie was awarded with his Guinness World Record recently, he hinted that a face could soon appear from Dennis's past, and it shouldn't be too long before we hear a bit more about this… Additionally, Dennis's friendship with Rita will continue to blossom.
Christopher: In Coronation Street, is Alan Hoyle back with Dorothy for Fiz's trial?
Soap Scoop: Yes, both of the Hoyles are back for the trial but it's only Dorothy who testifies in court. Even though Fiz rescued them from their hostage ordeal, it turns out that she's not their favourite person and they're keen to get justice for Charlotte by making sure the verdict is 'guilty'!
Soap Scoop: We spoke to Tom Lister briefly at the Inside Soap Awards recently and he seemed quite confident that Carl would win back Chas eventually! However, we're not aware of it happening anytime soon, so he may have just been speculating. A couple to keep an eye on perhaps?
James: Hello - why was Priya recast in Emmerdale and when will Jai's family appear on screen?
Soap Scoop: We're not aware of the reason behind the recast, but the new Sharma arrivals all make their first appearance on screen next week - on November 4 to be exact. Charity will initially have a tough time trying to get on Georgia's good side, but she may just be able to win her over following a difficult start. Meanwhile, Priya will be causing a stir pretty much straight away with some outspoken remarks and flirting with Cain! Check out the detailed spoilers for this in our Emmerdale section tomorrow (Tuesday).
Soap Scoop: They may do, but as with Emmerdale's Carl and Chas, we're not currently aware of it happening anytime soon. On screen, we'll soon see Kyle make a sudden departure as Christopher Milligan took a few weeks off from filming due to a sports injury. Luke Pegler takes over his role in storylines as Kyle's cousin Dane. An affair is also about to develop between Jade and Malcolm Kennedy! With all that in mind, it looks like there'll be quite a few obstacles in the way before Kyle and Jade have a chance, but it's difficult to rule anything out. Hopefully they'll get a happy ending...
Josh: Is there any confirmation (or actual denial) that the Wicks brothers will be returning to EastEnders? What about the Beale twins?
Soap Scoop: The official line for stories about the Wicks brothers (and indeed all rumours about Pat's departure) has been that nothing can be confirmed or denied at the moment. However, we know that Pat's final scenes air at the end of the year and with the Christmas episodes of EastEnders currently being filmed, it's difficult to see how a return for Simon and David could be kept a secret for much longer if it's actually happening.
With regard to the Beale twins, EastEnders' executive producer Bryan Kirkwood said in July that they'd be back "at some point in the future" but we don't currently know any more than that.
Jessica: Will the doctor get found out in EastEnders?
Soap Scoop: The Yusef storyline takes a bit of a turn next week when his scheme to falsify the DNA test results for Yasmin's paternity backfires. So some of his scheming will be exposed, but the storyline is set to run for a while longer, so it looks like it won't be enough for the Masoods to see the back of him just yet…
