The jury has been considering Pete’s case for two days and has not yet reached a verdict. The judge tells them he will accept a decision on which at least 10 of them agree. Bex feels confident and tells Charlie that several of the jury members looked her in the eye as they walked out and they would not do that if they did not believe her. But Charlie worries Bex is setting her hopes too high.

Back at work, Luke avoids Clare. She tries to talk to him but he is disgusted that she lied for her brother.The jurors ask to hear the 999 call again and Bex is on tenterhooks as they play it in court. Later, the jury delivers its verdict...

Meanwhile, Sam worries what Charlie will say about him destroying the patient files. Charlie says he was disappointed in Tess for lying but he has decided not to take action.Tess and Sam are overjoyed.
