The teen soap spinoff averaged 368k (1.6%) in the 9pm hour for the digital channel, before grabbing an extra 173k (0.9%) on timeshift. Earlier on Channel 4, the main show mustered 914k (4.7%).
The unfolding mystery at Underworld attracted 8.42m (38.5%) to Coronation Street at 7.30pm, before 8.5m (35%) returned at 8.30pm for John's fresh crisis.
Prior to that, Emmerdale's eventful week came to a close with 7.04m (34%) for Victoria's dilemma. Meanwhile, 8.57m (36.7%) watched Janine, Ryan and Lily face serious danger in EastEnders.
Elsewhere, Doctors averaged 1.75m (20.7%) at lunchtime, while Neighbours logged 692k (8.2%) at the same time, before Home and Away's afternoon showing had 314k (4%).
At teatime, a heftier 1.24m (8.6%) and 927k (5.3%) caught the latest goings-on in Ramsay Street and Summer Bay respectively, after which Fiver's first look grabbed 527k (2.7%).
