Cheryl Cole "so proud" over Amy Walsh's 'Hollyoaks Later' role

Cheryl Cole has revealed that she has been watching Amy Walsh in action on the new series of Hollyoaks Later.

Amy - sister of Cole's Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh - has been appearing as Mercedes McQueen's cousin Jenifique on the latest run of the after-dark spinoff show.

Writing on her Twitter page last night, Cole explained: "Just watched Amy Walsh on Hollyoaks Later.

"Finding it hard to wrap my head around her playing someone else but feel sooo proud of her!"

Jenifique's storyline has seen her catch up with the McQueens during Mercedes's hen celebrations in Ibiza. However, in a twist, she is dating the bride-to-be's first love Johnny - sparking a confusing time for Mercedes.

Hollyoaks Later airs all this week at 10pm on E4.
