Roger Griffiths has joined the cast of Holby City, DS can confirm.
The actor, better known for his EastEnders character D.I. Riddick, is to appear as Harvey, the ex-husband of Kyla Tyson (Rakie Ayola).
Harvey will stir up trouble when he turns up and becomes involved in the love triangle between Kyla, Justin and Donna.
Griffiths' first scenes will be on screen on Tuesday 27th June.
