New 'Chief Executive' for 'Holby City'
Published Friday, Jun 15 2007, 12:53 BST | By Kris Green

The 44-year-old actress will play new Chief Executive Officer Jayne Grayson, a woman in her early forties who's witty, compassionate and ambitious when it suits but thinks of herself as Solomon.
Despite Jayne's lack of experience in the NHS, she believes she can turn the hospital around. She's a force to be reckoned with and doesn't suffer fools lightly, having the confidence to deal with whatever and whoever she has to.
With a good sense of humour on her side and the ability to listen to people and deal with them in a diplomatic way, she's a good manager and relies on her own judgement and making her own decisions.
Speaking of her new role, Stella told DS: "I am absolutely delighted to be hiring and firing at Holby. I am loving working with the cast - they are so warm, welcoming and committed."
Stella has previously made appearances in several programmes including Casualty, Midsomer Murders, Murder in Suburbia and Where The Heart Is.
Her first episode as Jane Grayson is due to transmit on Tuesday, July 10.
