Davro jokes about 'fat and ugly' co-stars

Bobby Davro has cracked jokes about his EastEnders co-stars at a stand-up comedy gig.

The actor, who played Vinnie Monks, mocked Linda Henry and Cheryl Fergison for being fat and ugly during a warm-up show at the 02 arena.

Davro has been written out of the BBC soap, but plans to return at some point in 2009.

Speaking about kissing Henry, who plays Shirley Carter, he said: "[She] had a face like a bulldog licking p*** off a thistle."

He also joked that he had slept with Fergison, who plays Heather Trott. "I'm not saying she's big but I got on top of her and burnt my a*** on the lightbulb," he said.

Audience member Debbie Scarf told The Sun: "I couldn't believe how insulting he was. The actresses will be furious."

Davro's agent commented: "It was tongue in cheek. Both actresses know he jokes about them and see the funny side."
