Even as the bongs of Big Ben were chiming, the tragedy in Albert Square continued, the year beginning with the gruesome death of Kevin Wicks. The year didn't really become any happier, either. Jay was stabbed, Stacey broke Bradley's heart, Tanya tried to bury Max, Steven tried to kill Pat and 'Mad' May Wright blew up the Millers' - and that was only the first half of the year.
