Wadia: 'Syed's a dark horse'
Published Wednesday, Apr 15 2009, 17:02 BST | By Kris Green

Next week, Wadia - who plays stubborn businesswoman Zainab Masood in the Walford soap - sees the arrival of her estranged screen son Syed (Marc Elliott) in Walford after four years living away from the family.
Speaking of Elliott's character, she told DS: "What I like about the way they've introduced him is that you get to see the gentle side of him first - the repentant side. Then you see what he's really like over the subsequent weeks. He's a dark horse this one."
She added: "It's like [Marc]'s been there longer than we have – it's like we've worked with him for years. He's slotted in really, really well. He's a really lovely guy. We laugh on set all the time and we get told off for laughing too much!"
