Westbrook, McFadden: 'We'd love Grant back'
Published Tuesday, Sep 8 2009, 12:27 BST | By Kris Green and Dan French
EastEnders stars Steve McFadden and Danniella Westbrook have expressed their desire to see their screen brother Ross Kemp back in Albert Square.
Speaking to DS on the red carpet at this year's TV Quick and TV Choice awards, McFadden - Phil Mitchell in the BBC soap - said: "He's pretty happy where he is at the moment, though. He phones up every now and again and we have a little catchup. He keeps his finger on the pulse... and we keep the home fire burning - when he wants to come back, he knows he'll get a warm welcome."
Westbrook, who recently reprised her role as Sam Mitchell, added: "We'd love him to... If he's not too busy fighting pirates and being a soldier, we'd love to have him back with us."
