POTD: Lucy is mugged in 'EastEnders'
Published Monday, Nov 2 2009, 09:48 GMT | By Kris Green
EastEnders' Lucy Beale is mugged for her mobile phone during tonight's episode of the Walford soap.
The teen - played by Melissa Suffield - who is currently blackmailing Syed (Marc Elliott) in exchange for cash to keep quiet about his affair with Christian (John Partridge), manages to extort £300 from Syed. Lucy decides to buy a top-of-the-range mobile phone with the money.
However, strapped for cash and determined to find a solution to Billy's (Perry Fenwick) money problems, Jay (Jamie Borthwick) resorts to jumping Lucy and grabbing her phone. Jay begins to panic, though, when he looks back and sees her lying motionless on the ground.
Will Lucy work out the identity of her attacker?

EastEnders airs tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
