'Enders exec teases over Lucas twists

Sinister man of the cloth Lucas, played by Don Gilet, was seen accidentally killing his wife Trina (Sharon Duncan-Brewster) in September this year. He then hastily covered up his involvement in her passing.
Meanwhile, last month, the priest claimed a second victim when he targeted Owen Turner (Lee Ross), the ex-husband of his new partner Denise (Diane Parish).
Speaking about the character's future in an interview with DS, Santer teased: "Lucas is doing the Lord's work and who knows what that's doing to his head - maybe he'll kill again.
"Lucas's story is 'poised' and we're just trying to work out the exact timing of the long-term story. There's brilliant stuff in the pipeline - it's one for a slow burn really. We have Lucas who's a murderer. Will he murder again? Who's the next person to cross him? He's one dangerous man."
The show's boss also admitted that he had been surprised by the way fans "took Owen to their hearts to the extent that they did" before his murder.
He added: "It was really satisfying though, to 'redeem' a character in the audience's eyes in the way we did."
