'Enders Woodyatt jokes over snowy live ep

WENN

EastEnders veteran Adam Woodyatt has joked about the possibility of snow falling on the day of the BBC soap's live 25th anniversary episode.

The 41-year-old - who plays the Walford serial's only remaining original character Ian Beale - explained that the cast and crew will have two weeks to rehearse the live instalment before it transmits on February 19 and jokingly fretted about potential snowy weather.

Speaking to Digital Spy on the red carpet at last night's National Television Awards, he jested: "I'm hoping it's not snowing! I'm looking forward to it. It should be laugh. It's obviously something we've never done before… we've got two weeks to rehearse it, so we've got plenty of time to sort everything."

He added: "It's going to be fun and it should be a good treat for everyone."
