Tonight's instalment of the drama will be broadcast live and direct from the programme's home at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire in order to mark its milestone year.
In an interview with DS, Arnold was asked whether there will be any form of delay between the scenes being acted and being broadcast to the nation.
He replied: "You want the honest answer? It's live! That was my first question when I met with the technical people.
"I believe normally there's a tiny delay in live transmission in order to prevent someone swearing, perhaps, but this is scripted, so we know in advance - hopefully! - what people are going to say, so there shouldn't be any compliance issues."
Tonight's climactic instalment will feature the much-anticipated reveal of which character killed villain Archie Mitchell at Christmas.
EastEnders Live airs tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
