Alternate 'Enders live ep endings revealed
Two alternate endings to EastEnders' live episode have been revealed for the first time.

Fans of the BBC soap tonight saw Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner) confessing that she killed Archie Mitchell in a grief-stricken discussion with former lover Max (Jake Wood).

The troubled market stall worker made her revelation after watching husband Bradley (Charlie Clements) fall to his death while he was being chased by police investigating Archie's murder.

A dress rehearsal for today's episode, including multiple endings, was filmed ahead of broadcast in case of technical difficulties on the night.

One decoy ending transmitted tonight on BBC Three's EastEnders Live: The Aftermath saw Max confessing to the crime, telling Stacey: "This is all my fault, Stace. You don't understand. Bradley never killed him, he never killed Archie. It was me! I killed Archie."

Meanwhile, a second showed a shocked Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott) confessing all to his love interest Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) following Bradley's fall, saying: "This is my fault. It's my fault. I was jealous, wasn't I? It was me. I did it. I killed Archie!"

Tonight's episode was the highlight of EastEnders' 25th anniversary celebrations.
