Kalidas: 'I offered style tips on 'Enders'

Preeya Kalidas has revealed that she offered fashion advice to former EastEnders co-star Nina Wadia.

The 29-year-old, who recently swapped acting for a pop career, claimed that Wadia - who plays the fiery Zainab Masood - continues to ask her for style tips.

She told Holy Soap: "Nina still phones me to find out where she can get extensions from for her hair. I completely 'glamoured' her. I'm into clothes and make-up and hair, and she wasn't really interested until I joined the show.

"She phoned me literally two days ago to find out where to get hair extensions - it was very funny."

Kalidas played Amira, Wadia's on-screen daughter-in-law, on the serial.
