Honey trap heads for Walford

A new face is set to cause a stir in Albert Square later this year - and cheating husbands should beware.

Spooks actress Emma Barton is to appear in Walford as a 'private detective', snooping into people's love lives.

Her character, Honey Edwards, works for a honey trap agency and is beckoned to the Square by a resident who is suspicious of her husband's activities.

When she starts to put her plan into action, however, not all goes as expected.

Of her role, Emma said: “I can’t wait to join EastEnders and play Honey. She’s a really sweet girl, who always wants to do the best for everyone but she’s not exactly the brightest star in the sky.???

She will appear on screens from November.
