EastEnders' Zoe Lucker has revealed that she would like her character Vanessa Gold to form a friendship with Tanya Branning.
Vanessa has had a relationship with Tanya's (Jo Joyner) estranged husband Max. Now, with Tanya's return to Albert Square, Lucker admitted that the pair could be friends as they are alike.
"Vanessa and Tanya aren't that dissimilar," she told DS at the Inside Soap Awards. "Both have got certain similarities."
She continued: "I think Vanessa probably really likes Tanya and I'm hoping that Tanya will warm to Vanessa.
"They've obviously got Max in common, so you never quite know which way that's going to work out," she added.
