Barbara Windsor has admitted that she still gets emotional when talking about EastEnders.
The veteran actress spoke to Digital Spy at last night's Variety Club Showbiz Awards in London and revealed that she was still in touch with her former soap cast members.
Windsor, who quit her role as Peggy Mitchell earlier this year, took home the prestigious 'Outstanding Contribution To Showbusiness' gong from yesterday's ceremony.
