Natalie Cassidy brands McDermott "a pig"

Natalie Cassidy has labelled her former EastEnders co-star Neil McDermott a "pig" after he cheated on his wife.

It was revealed last month that McDermott - Ryan Malloy in the BBC soap - slept with a 16-year-old fan just weeks after the birth of his daughter.

"I was shocked to read about Neil cheating on his wife Michelle," Cassidy wrote in her New magazine column. "They've just had a baby!"

She added: "The fact they've just had a child together makes him even more of a pig!"

Larry Lamb previously called McDermott a "silly boy" for allowing the "Jack-the-lad" character he plays to take over his personality.
