With things back on track between the Moons at The Vic, Kat wakes up and tells Alfie that she had a dream about Jean, making her realise just how much she misses her.
Deciding to see Jean in the clinic, Kat is thrilled to hear that she is doing much better and coping well. However, astute Jean soon realises that the same cannot be said for the Queen Vic landlady and discussion soon turns to how she's coping following the loss of Tommy.
As they have a heart-to-heart, it's clear that the pair currently have a lot in common and when Jean explains that she's completed her course and can now go home, it paves the way for her to return to The Vic to stay with Kat and Alfie.
