On Coronation Street, Liz's decision to leave The Rovers following Jim's dramatic armed robbery was seen by 8.07m (33.6%) on ITV1 from 8.30pm and 229k (1%) on +1.
Also on ITV1, Emmerdale grabbed 6.69m (33.6%) from 7pm as Jimmy succumbed to Kelly's charms. Nicola's desperate move to get rid of Kelly was watched by 7.03m (31.7%) from 8pm and 140k (0.6%) on +1.
Elsewhere, Hollyoaks brought in 1.12m (6.1%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, and E4's first look at the next episode mustered 496k (2.5%) from 7pm.
Earlier in the day, Doctors took 1.58m (20.7%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while Neighbours had 742k (9.7%) on Channel 5. The Neighbours repeat screening lured 1.26m (8.9%) from 5.30pm.
Home & Away fetched 849k (4.9%) from 6pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode entertained 426k (2.3%) from 6.30pm.
