Jody Latham 'arrested for supplying drugs'

EastEnders star Jody Latham was reportedly arrested yesterday on suspicion of assault and growing and supplying cannabis.

The actor, who played pimp Rob Grayson in the soap's sex exploitation storyline, was in police custody last night, accused of producing the Class B drug at his home in Bacup, Lancashire.

A witness said that police arrived at 3am following a row at the address. A man left the property with an eye injury, according to The Sun.

A police spokeswoman said: "A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing a Class B drug, namely cannabis, and being concerned in that drug's supply."

He also faces claims that he had an offensive weapon, and has been bailed pending further inquiries. His agent reportedly refused to comment yesterday.

It was recently announced that Latham would be returning to EastEnders.
