Stuart Laing joins 'EastEnders'

Actor Stuart Laing has been cast for a new role in EastEnders.

Laing will play Rob Minter who is an Account Manager at the local bank. It’s through his job that he is introduced to the Square. Rob meets Ian Beale through his dealings with the Walford Community Trust.

The character will be involved in a major storyline this summer.

Of his new role, Stuart said: “I am really excited about joining EastEnders and am thrilled to be working with the cast – I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

The actor, who has previously appeared in various programmes such as The Bill and Holby City, starts filming at Hertfordshire's Elstree studios next week.
