POTD: Christian and Zainab argue in 'EastEnders'

Christian and Zainab have an emotional showdown in tonight's episode of EastEnders.

With the social worker due to pay another visit, Christian is determined to make up for his behaviour earlier in the week. Wanting to ensure that everything is perfect, Christian plots to sort things out with Zainab once and for all.

Believing that Syed is unwell, Zainab arrives at the flat to discover that Christian has lied. Locking the door, he refuses to let her leave. The pair row as Christian brands her a hypocrite, while she insists that gay adoption is wrong. However, when he tells her that Syed needs to become his own person, Zainab is left pondering her next move.

With a deposit for the flat from Yusef, a thrilled Christian tells Syed that everything is sorted. Meanwhile, Syed has made a decision of his own...

They have a heated discussion, each one hurting the other.
