The Walford crook is stunned when Janine buys Roxy Mitchell's share of local nightclub R&R, leaving him forced to work alongside the Square's resident superbitch, according to The Sun.
It is thought that the development comes after Phil (Steve McFadden) encourages Roxy (Rita Simons) to sell her stake in the club to him, declaring that she isn't cut out for the world of business.
Keen to get her own back following his remarks, Roxy reportedly sells her share to newly-rich Janine (Charlie Brooks) - knowing her decision will infuriate Phil.
A Walford source told the newspaper: "There will be fireworks when Phil and Janine are forced to work together. There's certainly no love lost between them. Janine is keen to become a real entrepreneur now she's rich, but Phil tries to do everything in his power to get rid of her.
"But she's determined to get her feet under the table and it looks like Phil may be forced to tolerate her."
Janine's change in fortunes came last month when she discovered that she had inherited her late grandmother Lydia's cash.
