'EastEnders' films Vanessa, Eddie street showdown

EastEnders stars Zöe Lucker and David Essex have been spotted filming on-location for a showdown scene featuring their characters Vanessa Gold and Eddie Moon.

In what are thought to be Vanessa's final moments on the Walford soap, the glamorous blonde meets up with Eddie for a business transaction - only to be left stranded with all of her belongings when he angrily turns on her.

Eddie arrives on a street in his car for the mystery deal, which sees Vanessa hand him a bag of money, according to The Sun.

However, the antiques dealer soon surprises Vanessa by unpacking her luggage from his car, dumping it on the street and giving the cash back to her.

As Eddie starts driving away and Vanessa screams at him, she faces further humiliation as a taxi arrives and drenches her by driving through a puddle.

Further details about the storyline are expected to be revealed later this year, but fans already know that Vanessa is about to find herself embroiled in Michael Moon's attempts to get even with Eddie.

As Vanessa has no-one to turn to after being dumped by Max Branning, Michael senses that she is vulnerable and she eventually agrees to help him.

EastEnders bosses announced Vanessa's departure in April.
