POTD: 'EastEnders' Vanessa is left stunned by Michael

EastEnders' Vanessa Gold faces a moral dilemma in tonight's episode of the soap as Michael Moon tries to involve her in his scheming.

Still reeling after being dumped by Max and kicked out by Carol, Vanessa (Zöe Lucker) is relieved as Eddie plays the Good Samaritan - taking her over to the B&B to calm down.

Later, Vanessa sings the antiques dealer's praises when she's left alone with Michael (Steve John Shepherd), but he shocks her by ranting that Eddie is like all the rest and destroyed his mother.

Spotting an opportunity, it's not long before Michael makes Vanessa a tempting offer - urging her to break Eddie's heart in return for cash.

Michael knows that Vanessa is desperate after losing Max and her home, but can she really go through with such a vicious scheme?


EastEnders airs tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
