Former 'Neighbours' actor lands 'Enders role
Published Friday, Jul 21 2006, 12:40 BST | By Kris Green

The actor - who played Max Crawford in the Aussie soap back in 2000 - will play the role of SJ's (Natasha Beaumont) 'brother' Sid.
Kicking against the system, Sid is a man who makes living hand to mouth look easy. He has always fancied SJ, but he’s never been in love with her.
From time to time, when he’s feeling low, he seeks solace in SJ's arms which is what brings him to Walford. However, all is not what it seems between the pair as Minty (Cliff Parisi) soon discovers when he becomes entangled in their complicated relationship.
A spokeswoman for the show told DS: "We're looking forward to Simon joing the show and we're sure that Sid is going to make a real impact on the Square."
