POTD: 'EastEnders' Max quizzes his troubled family

EastEnders' Max Branning demands answers from his family in tonight's episode after returning home to a chaotic situation.
Keen to find out what has gone so wrong with his loved ones, Max informs a shocked Tanya (Jo Joyner) that Jack has been in touch to tell him about her drinking and the kids running wild.
Max's first concern is to find out whether Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) really is expecting a baby, and while she quickly explains that the pregnancy test belongs to Lola, she starts to tell her father just how bad things have been in his absence.
Jake Wood, who plays Max, recently told Digital Spy: "From Max's point of view, he can see that Tanya's losing control so he's keen to get back and sort everything out. He wants to give everyone a good shake-up, so when he returns, he's very much on the front foot and on the attack."
Tanya soon gets defensive and insists that they don't need Max around, but it won't be long until the truth about her illness is finally revealed to all…
EastEnders airs tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
