'EastEnders': Pat Evans's final moments in pictures

In scenes to air over the festive period, the Walford resident is met by friends and enemies alike at her bedside as she slowly succumbs to illness.
With Pat at her weakest and most vulnerable, Derek Branning takes the opportunity to mess with his nemesis one last time - while her son David Wicks (Michael French) faces a race to say goodbye.
David's return to the Square also sees him reconnect with old flame Carol Jackson (Lindsey Coulson), who gets caught in the middle when his own feud with Derek explodes once again.
Pam St Clement announced in July that she would be departing EastEnders after 25 years as Pat.
