The BBC drama has picked up nine nods across eight categories in this year's shortlist, which rewards the best storylines and performances from the past 12 months.
Coronation Street and Hollyoaks follow closely behind with seven nominations each, while Emmerdale has six.
Channel 5's Australian soaps also feature, with Home and Away scoring two nominations and Neighbours managing one.
The All About Soap Awards are the first fully-fledged soap awards of 2012 and are determined solely by public votes.
This year's 'Best Actor' category is a battle between Coronation Street's Chris Gascoyne (Peter Barlow), EastEnders' Jake Wood (Max Branning), Emmerdale's Danny Miller (Aaron Livesy) and Hollyoaks' Emmett Scanlan (Brendan Brady).
Meanwhile, the 'Best Actress' category features Coronation Street's Alison King (Carla Connor), EastEnders' Jo Joyner (Tanya Jessop), Emmerdale's Chelsea Halfpenny (Amy Wyatt) and Hollyoaks' Claire Cooper (Jacqui McQueen).
The 'Best Episode' nominations recognise Steve and Tracy's ill-fated Weatherfield wedding, Pat's funeral in Walford, Cain's attack in Emmerdale and the Halloween murder in Hollyoaks, while Michelle Keegan, Jacqueline Jossa, Natalie Anderson and Jorgie Porter are up for 'Best Dressed Soap Star'.
The other four categories are 'Best Villain', 'Best Mystery', 'Best Comeback' and 'Best Couple'.
All About Soap's editor Johnathon Hughes commented: "Competition is fierce among the soaps when it comes to awards. Who has the most loyal fans? Which stories and characters have made the biggest impact? It's down to the public to decide as they get the chance to have their say."
Voting will open on Tuesday, February 14 via the All About Soap website and an awards form in the magazine's next issue. The poll closes on Monday, February 27 and the winners will be announced in the magazine next month.
